The Laminar team is pleased to announce that we are now part of Perpetual Limited, an ASX-listed (ASX:PPT), diversified financial services company, which has been serving clients since 1886. Across four businesses: Perpetual Asset Management Australia, Perpetual Asset Management International, Perpetual Corporate Trust and Perpetual Private, aim to protect and grow its clients’ wealth, knowing that by doing so we can make a difference in their lives.
Following the acquisition by Perpetual, Laminar will maintain its brand and leadership team. We will now be part of a larger business and team but with the same focus on you, our customers.
Our team remains unchanged and focused on delivering the same high level of service that our customers have become accustomed to.
Importantly, our business will be strengthened via Perpetual’s 100% ownership, with benefits arising from the broader Perpetual business, brand and balance sheet which will support growth and opportunities for our clients.
Laminar’s governance structures will be further bolstered by the rigour of Perpetual and its’ Risk Management Framework and group support functions, including Legal, Audit, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Cyber Security, Finance, People and Culture.
Perpetual Corporate Trust (PCT) has a strong technology focus. As a result of our acquisition, a new standalone division has been created known as Perpetual Digital, PCT’s innovation company. This will bring together all PCT’s digital assets and adding Laminar’s Treasury Direct digital platform will create a specialist business focussed on providing innovative digital, treasury, debt markets and advisory solutions to clients.
Treasury Direct will continue to be a core focus of our ongoing innovation and our customers will benefit from a larger team driving continued development and support.
