The Laminar Credit Opportunities Fund victory at the Australian Hedge Fund Awards has been a step forward for the recognition of fixed income funds in the Australian market.
The boutique fund was recently awarded hedge fund of the year and best fixed income fund, triumphing over some of the biggest names in Australian funds management.
Laminar executive director Chris Black told the AFR that the fund’s recent returns had been particularly satisfying.
