A one-of-a-kind bubble house in Australia has hit the market for $1.5 million. Like a scene out of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”, this architectural sanctuary, located in Ipswich, Queensland offers a sports bar, media room and even a semi-circular library. Designed by Australian Architect, Graham Birchall, the property is made up of 20 rooms and spreads across three floors in 11 intersecting circular domes — the only one like it in the world, according to Jam Press. The domes took nearly 10 years to build and are made up of over 350,000 wire ties covered in a thin layer of cement. Unique features of the home include a custom-made kitchen crafted by a traditional master boat builder, special circular iris shutters in the windows, a water cooling fountain and a wood-burner.
